MENTORSHIP

BE A CHAMPION

SPM Level Guidance

  • Workshops

    • Most of us came from a secondary school background, which means this is one place you can give back to already! BGBL is working on creating a “Back-2-School” Toolkit which makes it easier for you to conduct a session in your school!

  • SPM Subject Q&A

    • Q&A is a shorter version of tutoring. We don’t expect you to be coaching someone through their entire syllabus, but to provide help if they are struggling with certain points of homework or concepts in particular. If you are willing to tutor, see our commitment section below.

  • General Prep/Life Skills Counselling

    • A lot of the time, we just need tools and tips to smoothen our journey through school. This is for champions who can share on time management, purpose planning, resume-building, co-curricular activities and the likes.

  • Pre-University Education Counselling

    • Give students an overview of the different options available to them in the interim period between secondary school and tertiary education.

Pre University Level Guidance

  • Proofreading

    • If you have a strong grasp of application-style writing, or simply a better command of language than the average person, do contribute to guiding a student toward creating an application that channels their potential.

  • Scholarship Prep

    • This is where you can conduct mock interviews, help guide a student through the scholarship search and application process, and manage expectations

  • Tertiary Education Counselling

    • Give students an overview of tertiary education options, including what makes a best fit, courses, locations

  • Insights

    • Sharing of different major or life paths, expectations vs reality, coping mechanisms
